Services A1

Own your email

Your mail on your own server, with webmail, backups and spam filtering, moved without losing a message.

The problem

You pay per user for a suite you mostly use for mail, or your hosted mail is failing quietly: addresses that bounce, an expired certificate, a spam filter nobody watches.

What we deliver

A mail server and webmail on a server in your own cloud account
The DNS records: MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC held at monitoring until the reports are clean
Outbound mail through a sending service, because the big clouds block port 25
Every mailbox copied, with a count of every folder on both sides
A parallel run, then the switch, with a written rollback
Spam settings tuned on your real mail
Nightly encrypted backups off the server, and one restore tested

What we need from you

DNS and registrar access
Access to each mailbox at your current host, used read-only for the copy
A cloud account or a server of your own
An account with a sending service
One named person who resets passwords

Built on: Stalwart (mail server), Roundcube (webmail), restic (backups), imapsync (the copy), Cloudflare R2 (backup storage).

Price and time

R12,500

Up to 3 domains and 25 mailboxes. Optional care plan: R950 a month.

How long:: 1 to 2 weeks, including a parallel run of at least two days
Support:: Optional care plan: updates, a monthly restore test, spam tuning and certificate checks

Prices are final: Okha Labs is not VAT-registered. We don't promise a saving. See the terms.

Not for: Teams that need Office apps, Teams or shared calendars from their suite. This replaces mail, not an office suite. It also doesn't pay against cheap shared hosting: some hosts carry 100 mailboxes for under R100 a month. The free check tells you which case you are.
